Glass door installation:Warning: Cutting holes in glass can be both hazardous and costly if not carried out by a professional glazier. In order to avoid costly repairs or injury we strongly recommend you contact your local professional glazier to install your pet door into glass.Please note: Under no circumstances should you try to cut holes into toughened or tempered glass. For double glazing applications the door should be fitted at time of window manufacture.
Fitting into glass: No screw holes are required to be drilled into the glass. The cat doors have slip-type joint frames with the fastening screw bosses moulded into the cat door for ease of installation.
Wood door installation:
This may be tackled by the home handy man. Tools required are simple tape measure, electric drill, jig saw (either manual or electric) and a screwdriver. Refer Instructions below.
